TAKMIL is a US-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on one mission: getting out-of-school children in rural Pakistan into education. We started in 2017 with one school and 50 children in Mardan. Today we operate 180+ non-formal schools across 42 districts.
We don’t build brick-and-mortar schools. Instead, we bring a portable School-in-a-Box, solar-powered technology, video lessons, and a trained community facilitator, directly into homes, mosques, and community spaces.
